1960's Cole-Hersee
Automobile Electrical Display Rack
 This
display was used for many years in Mercury Outboard motor dealer,
Grubb's Marine. It is in good condition and even has the original
paper on the back to mark the items carried (never written on). It
is 29" high and 16" wide and 10" deep. Cole-Hersee Co. made
marine electrical items but this display says automotive. A great
vintage display item for auto or marine items.

Unusual Miniature
Motor Boat Cover Display NOS
 This
is a new miniature boat cover installed over a styrofoam "boat". It
was in the back room of Grubb's Marine (the old Mercury outboard
motor people) and was never taken out of its plastic wrapper. A
packing paper dated it to 1992. It was sent to them by the Nelson
Taylor company that has for years made boat convertible tops,
windshields, boat covers, and many other boating items. "Trailrite
Boat Covers" "On Sale Here" is printed on both sides. It is
about 21" long. This has to be an unusual nautical item. You may
never see another!

Small Water-Ski Magazine from the
1950's
 This old magazine pretty much covers
every aspect of water skiing in the mid-fifties. It is profusely
illustrated (all black and white except the cover). It covers
basics, equipment, stunts, using a saucer, and jumping. It says
it is a special edition for Puritan Marine Products who made
water ski ropes.

1987 Johnson Outboard Motor Sales Catalog
 This catalog came from the Johnson
display at the New York Boat Show and was put into a file.
Condition is excellent. It has not been rubber stamped by
any dealer.
Measures 8 1/2" X 11" with 47 numbered pages.

Steamboat History Book
 Farewell Old Mount Washington Steamboat
History Book
This softcover book is copyrighted 1969 and was authored by Edward
H. Blackstone and published by the Steamship Historical Society of
America. It appears to be the complete history of steamboating on
New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee. It is profusely illustrated
entirely in black and white. I am not a book grading expert but I
feel condition is excellent. I see no wear or deterioration. I
doubt it has had more than a quick careful look thru. In addition to
being a book about steamboats, it also represents a history of a
major activity on New Hampshire's greatest lake and the culture
surrounding this activity.

Classic Powercraft Volume 1 Leatherette Book
 This book is autographed by both authors
and numbered #486. These magnificent books were created by Norm and
Jim Wangard who produce the very slick Classic Boating magazines.
This copy appears to me as new. It undoubtedly has been looked thru
but I see no damage or deterioration anywhere. They featured 15
beautiful restored classic boats of the finest caliber from makers
such as Chris Craft, Besotes, Century, Correct Craft, Gar Wood,
Hutchinson, Riva, Greavette, Streblow, and Ventnor. A
comprehensive article on each boat accompanies their fabulous photos
and usually original archive material on each boat as well. 127
numbered pages.

Vintage Aqua Meter Motor Boat Oil Gauge NOS
 This instrument has never been installed. It is a
standard size gauge requiring a mounting hole about 2 1/16"
diameter. The original display box does have some damage as shown.
Mounting hardware is included. It has a hole in the back of the
case to accept a light socket (not included). While this is new, I
cannot guarantee it to function although I feel it will.

Vintage Duro
Fix-it Products Display
 This
display rack came out of an old marine supply business. I'd guess it
is from the 50's or 60's. It is made to simply hang on
standard peg board.
It measures about 16" X 14". It
would make a great place to hang packs of glues and epoxies in any
shop with a vintage theme. There are some scratches and a
little paint loss in the sign but it would still look great used as
suggested.

1972 Outboard Motor Blue Book
 This
is a 1972 outboard motor trade in guide. These are one of the best
sources of specs. and information on older outboards there is.
Sometimes, they offer the only information that can be found on
obscure makes. This one covers 1961-71 and lists such obscure
motors as Aero Marine, Aqua-Jet, Archimedes-Penta, Commando, Golden
Jet, Hot Rod, Mono and Sea Bee (British) as well as all the more
common brands. There is a little discoloring on the covers but the
guide otherwise is extremely clean.

1957 Evinrude Lark Outboard Decal Set NOS
 This
decal set is rolled in the original tube. This model had no decals
on the engine exterior. The set consists of a starting and oiling
decal for the inside of the cowl, an electric starting decal and a
wiring decal for the electrical junction box. The junction box
decals are reverse applied and the wiring decal just appears silver
on the paper. The wiring decal appears in pretty good shape. The S &
O decal has some cracks in it and the electric starting decal has an
area where the decal has pulled off and transferred to the backing
paper.
