2hp @ 1400RPM Serial #9131

This is the oldest motor in my collection.  This was the first gasoline outboard to be built in any significant quantity.  It is started by a crank and requires a battery and "buzz" coil for spark.  I purchased this motor from an individual from New York in 1992.  I first ran it in 1997 and I have run it a couple of times since.  In my most recent attempt, I could not get it to run for more than a few seconds.
